My Posts Keep Going *POOF*

October 12th, 2013 at 10:42 am

Ugh! TWICE this week I had a post about the update on the progress of my new (well now about two months old) tutoring business. Nice long, detailed updates that went POOF!

Therefore, this is a very abbreviated version. All is well and I should be able to take 2/3 of my "goal" paycheck home come November 1st.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Yes! Your post made it this time! I have learned to copy-save because about 50% of my posts disappear, I think it has to do with how long it takes to write them.

After a certain amount of time (somewhere between 5-10 minss), the site times out. So if you are still writing when it times out, the post is gone. Before you hit "Save and Publish", Copy the post and paste it on a Word doc so you have it. Then hit Save and see what happens. If it is gone, copy it over from your Word doc and it will Save because you were "writing" within the allowed time frame. Its happened to me too, and the long posts are the good ones to read.

i write each of my posts in a word doc and then when one is ready, i copy and paste it into the new entry place and submit. very easy and i never lose anything! congrats on the new tutoring business!

I "save as draft" every so often, then edit the draft and keep writing. Smile
